The DRPI Country monitoring project in Macedonia is implemented by the Association “Open the Windows” from Skopje, Macedonia in partnership with the Center for Society Orientation, DRPI Regional Office for Europe. The project is financially supported by the European Union Delegation in Macedonia through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).
Training for monitoring of disability rights was held in Skopje from 16th to 23rd June. It engaged 30 participants as future monitors from local DPOs coming from Veles, Skopje and Bitola. The DRPI Macedonia Project lasts for 18 months. Systemic monitoring, individual experiences monitoring, and media monitoring are currently in progress.
