The full report was launched in August 2013: Monitoring of Human Rights of Persons With Disabilities: A Comprehensive Analysis of Compliance and Breach of Fundamental Rights in Honduras

A training of monitors, site coordinators and data analysts took place in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from June 25 to July 1, 2012. It was attended by over 50 participants. The participants were empowered and their technical skills were developed, to implement an integral system to follow-up on the human rights of persons with disabilities in Honduras. Once the training was finished, work teams were defined to conduct interviews about individual experiences. Additionally, another group was devoted to the analysis of laws, policies, and programs within the framework of the learned methodology, and another team to the monitoring of societal attitudes through media monitoring.
