Monitoring our rights: a tool for evidence-based participatory policy-making, will focus on Disability Rights Promotion International’s participatory methodology for monitoring disability rights including:

  1. Monitoring that includes people with disabilities as integral to data collection
  2. Well-planned monitoring as a contribution to more effective policy-making
  3. Recognizing persons with disabilities as legitimate researchers
  4. Monitoring as a tool for North/South dialogue
  5. The centrality of North/South dialogue and hearing the voices of people    with disabilities to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
