Onus Group, a leading RMG conglomerate, has recruited 9 persons with disabilities in the company with a view to creating opportunities for them to earn a decent living and contribute to the economy. BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman handed over appointment letters to them in presence of Onus Group Managing Director and First Vice President of FBCCI Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) at BGMEA office on 18 July.

BGMEA Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President SM Mannan (Kochi), Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir and BKMEA First Vice President A.H. Aslam Sunny, Executive Director of BPKS Mr. Abdus Sattar and Country Coordinator of DRPI Bangladesh Mr. Ishaque Mia were also present on the occasion.

Notably, 13 people with disabilities are currently working with the Onus Group. With new recruitment, a total of 22 workers with disabilities are now employed with the Group.
