Expanding the Circle in Kenora

Kenora Community:

Expanding the Circle: Aboriginal People with Disabilities Focus on Rights Project promotes rights of First Nation and Aboriginal people with disabilities.

This project aims to promote human rights among First Nations and Aboriginal people with disabilities, to share their stories so that the barriers being faced can be better understood and addressed. This project is run by Disability Rights Promotion International (DRPI) guided by a steering committee of First Nations/Aboriginal people and their allies.

Become a part of this collective effort where you can actively participate and give back to your community. We will be holding training sessions on disability rights monitoring in Kenora. We are seeking First Nation and Aboriginal people with Disabilities who would like to participate in the training sessions.
