  • April 18, 2012:

    The DRPI Nepal Country Training was launched April 18, 2012 during a seven-day training for monitors in Kathmandu, Nepal. The project is led by the National Federation of the Disabled Nepal with support from the DRPI Asia Pacific Regional Office.

  • September 21, 2011:

    Mr. Pavan Muntha and Mr. Ramesh Nanduri participated, on behalf of DRPI, in a 4-day Workshop entitled “Accelerate the Implementation of Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities” where representatives from 22 countries in the Asia-Pacific region met. Each of them participated actively and provided valuable  input with a pragmatic edge, reflecting the grassroots.   • September 19, 2011:

    DRPI Regional Officer for Asia-Pacific, Chona Sabo and Mr. Pavan Muntha attended a regional workshop to 'Accelerate the Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in New Delhi, India.   • July 4, 2011:

    The DRPI Asia-Pacific Regional Training Workshop is underway in Bangkok, Thailand. Patrik Andersson of UNESCAP delivered an address at the Opening Ceremony. Read more about the regional training here.

  • November 12, 2010:

    The DRPI Asia Pacific Regional Centre is now open in Bangkok, Thailand. It is hosted by DRPI's regional partner organization Disabled Peoples' International Asia Pacific Region (DPI/AP).You can read more about the Regional Office and DPI/AP here.

  • August 9, 2010:

    DRPI is seeking applications for the position of DRPI Asia-Pacific Regional Officer. (This competition is now closed).

  • February 21, 2010:
